Kid’s Fashion Fiesta to hold sixth edition in Delhi this June

The sixth edition of Kid’s Fashion Fiesta will take place in Delhi for the first time on June 9. After five years showing internationally, the fashion event will showcase global fashion brands and give young local models a platform.

Produced and organised by the events management company Blue Berry International, Kid’s Fashion Fiesta promises to bring an international brands selection to the capital this summer after a previous edition in Dubai. Participating brands have not yet been announced as registration is still open.

The fashion show will be preceded by model auditions for the child models and those who pass the audition stage will be coached on how to walk the runway with dedicated workshops. The fashion show is also intended as a confidence boosting exercise for children and a way for them to launch their modelling careers. 

As India’s children’s wear market continues to grow, an increasing number of children’s fashion shows are cropping up to tap into the demand. A recent Fibre 2 Fashion report stated that India’s children’s wear market is growing at a rate of 10 percent a year and it is currently valued at over Rs 13,000 crore ($1.95 billion). The branded children’s wear market is pegged at Rs 3,000 crore but branded kid’s apparel is becoming increasingly popular due to a rising middle class and disposable income among other factors.
