Khadim names Shardul Thakur as brand ambassador
Footwear major Khadim Ltd has named Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur as its brand ambassador. The brand will begin its association with the cricketer with a campaign ‘It’s Wow Its Khadim’.
With this association, Khadim is looking to expand its footprint across the country with Thakur’s popularity as a cricketer especially with Gen Z and millennials.
Commenting on the association, Namrata Ashok Chotrani, CEO of Khadim India Limited in a statement said, “We are delighted to partner with Shardul Thakur as an ambassador and look forward to a successful association. We are excited to take the experience to our consumers through our latest campaign.”
“The campaign seeks to highlight the new fashionable range of products, the refreshed in-store experience and reinforce the affordable price point. The campaign is being heavily promoted on digital platforms with focus on select markets. Apart from the media the association will also be extended to instore, retail and consumer touchpoints,” Chotrani added.
Khadim India is eyeing revenue of Rs 625-650 crore ($90 million) for the financial year 2022. During the last quarter, the brand strengthened its retail presence in tier 2, 3 cities by opening 21 retail stores to take its presence to 768 stores across India.
