Khadim India posts Q4 net profit of Rs 12 crore

Footwear major Khadim India reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 12 crore ($1.7 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2021, as against a net loss of Rs 20 crore it had reported in the year-ago period.
 

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 71 percent to Rs 270 crore, as against Rs 158 crore it had reported in the corresponding period previous fiscal year.
 
For the financial year 2020-21, Khadim India's consolidated net loss stood at Rs 33 crore in FY21, higher than net loss of Rs 31 crore in FY20, while its revenue was down by 19 percent to Rs 626 crore from last fiscal’s Rs 772 crore.

On the back of strong financial results amid the Covid-19 disruptions, Khadim India’s stock soared 11 percent to Rs 215 post the results announcement.
 
Khadim India manufactures and retails footwear under its flagship brand, Khadim’s. The brand now has over 800 retail outlets across India and sells its products through its e-commerce site and other online platforms.
