Khadim India CEO Namrata Ashok Chotrani resigns

Footwear firm Khadim India’s chief executive officer (CEO) Namrata Ashok Chotrani has decided to resign from the post citing personal reasons.

Chotrani was appointed as the CEO of the Company from November 01, 2019. Earlier, she held the position of non-executive, non-independent director of the Company from 2017 to 2019.

“The Board of Directors at its meeting held today i.e., December 26, 2022, had considered and taken on record of the resignation submitted by Namrata Ashok Chotrani from the position of chief executive officer (CEO) of the Company," Khadim India said in a statement to the stock exchanges.

“The said resignation would be effective from the close of business hours on March 23, 2023,” it added.

Founded in the 1960s, the Kolkata-based Khadim is present in 23 states and 1 union territory with 826 retail stores.

Khadim aims to expand its brick-and-mortar retail presence by opening around 80 new stores and eyeing Rs 800 crore in revenue in the 2023 financial year.
