Kewal Kiran Q4 net profit jumps 27 percent to Rs 31 crore

Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd witnessed a 28 percent rise in net profit to Rs 31 crore ($3.8 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2023, as against Rs 25 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 20 percent to Rs 207 crore, as against Rs 173 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Commenting on the results, Kewalchand Jain, chairman managing director of Kewal Kiran Ltd in a statement said, “I am happy to inform you that during FY 2023, we have registered a robust growth both in terms of volumes and overall revenue backed with healthy margins. The consistent growth in our performance reflects the power of the company’s brands to connect with consumers.”

“Our intensified focus on balanced distribution strategy and increasing presence through brand focussed exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) along with our drive for expansion of product categories and aggressive branding initiatives are the key contributors for this amazing performance,” he added.

Founded in 1981, KKCL is one of India’s leading manufacturers of branded apparels with brands like Killer, Integriti, LawmanPg3, Easies, and Desi Belle. It sells through EBOs, multi-brand outlets and leading e-commerce platforms in India.
