Kewal Kiran Q3 net profit rises 97 percent to Rs 21 crore

Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd witnessed a 97 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 21 crore ($2.8 million) for the third quarter ended December 2021, as against a net profit of Rs 11 crore it reported in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 43 percent to Rs 175 crore, as against Rs 123 crore it reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
 
Kewal Kiran’s total expenses during the quarter rose to Rs 146 crore, as against Rs 107 crore it reported in the year-ago period.

The company has been expanding its retail presence and expects the expansion to fuel its growth in the coming quarters. It plans to add over 150 stores over the next two years.
 
Kewal Kiran owns brands Killer, Integriti, LawmanPg3, Easies, and Desi Belle. The company currently has 336 retail stores in 210 cities across 25 states and sells on leading e-commerce platforms in India.
