Kewal Kiran Clothing partners with BCCI to sponsor Indian cricket team

Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited (KKCL) has partnered with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to make its flagship brand ‘Killer’ as the Indian cricket team’s official sponsor.

As part of the deal, the Killer brand will be displayed on the right upper chest of the Indian cricket team jersey until 31st May 2023.

With this partnership, Killer aims to expand its customer base by reaching out to millions of cricket fans across the country and plans huge retail expansion to cater to their needs.

Commenting on the partnership, Hemant Jain, joint managing director of KKCL in a statement said, “It is a matter of immense pride for us to be on the India jersey. As a home grown brand, we are excited to be offered this opportunity to showcase ourselves on one of the most prestigious assets in world sport and we thank our partners at ITW Catalyst for facilitating this partnership with the BCCI.”

“We are looking forward to growing our brand and catering to one of the world’s biggest fan bases. We will be using our network of over 350 stores, 1,800 large format stores and over 4,000 multi-brand outlets to bring the Indian jersey to the cricket fans,” he added.

Founded in 1981, KKCL is one of India’s leading manufacturers of branded apparels with brands like Killer, Integriti, Lawmanpg3, Easies, and Desi Belle.
