The transaction was facilitated by the exclusive financial advisor Avendus, according to Kedaara Capital’s statement on March 13. Kedaara Capital’s acquisition will provide an exit for investor InvAscent, which had invested in Oliva Skin & Hair Clinic in 2014.

“Globally, aesthetic dermatology treatments have seen a steady rise in demand with increasing disposable incomes, [the] rise in prominence of non-invasive technology for treatments, and acceptance of aesthetic dermatology treatments,” said Oliva Skin & Hair Clinic’s co-founder and chief executive Prashant Soma, ET Bureau reported. “India has seen a similar increase in demand.”

The strategic partnership between Oliva Skin & Hair Clinic and Kedaara Capital is designed to make skin and hair treatments and professional products available to wider demographics across India. Along with offering aesthetic services, the business retails a range of skin and hair products including cleansers, moisturisers, and sunscreens.

Oliva Skin & Hair Clinic has 23 addresses across India and works with over 100 dermatologists, according to the brand’s Facebook page. The business counts over three lakh clients and was established in 2009.
