Kaya Ltd reports Q3 net loss of Rs 18 crore
Skin and hair care brand Kaya Ltd reported a net loss of Rs 18 crore ($2.2 million) for the quarter ended December 2022, as against a net loss of Rs 8 crore reported in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 10 percent to Rs 100 crore, as against Rs 91 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
“In the backdrop of strong recovery of consumer sentiments, our India business registered a double-digit growth in Q3 of this fiscal over last year. Our Middle East business registered a 7 percent collections growth at constant currency this Q3 over last year,” Kaya Ltd said in a statement.
“After the successful launches of Lucknow and Surat, kaya has decided to propel its growth by launching several new clinics over the next 12 months,” it added.
Kaya’s clinics and products are designed to offer solutions for hair removal, acne, and skin ageing, among other issues.
The brand retails its range of products on its dedicated website as well as with multi-brand retailers including Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra among many others. It currently has 72 clinics in India and the Middle East.
