Kaveri opens new store in Mumbai

Womenswear brand Kaveri has opened a new flagship store in Kala Ghoda in Fort, Mumbai. Designer and brand founder Kaveri Lalchand has designed the space to reflect the brand’s delicate take on femininity.

The façade of the new store has been rendered in an Art Deco style, designed to fit in with Kala Ghoda’s historic ambience, the brand announced in a press release. The interior is white, bright, and delicately feminine to reflect the aesthetic of Lalchand’s brand.

Kaveri’s latest collection of pastel hued dresses, kurtas, and sets features in the store, displayed by colour on open rails. The brand’s latest offering ‘Couture by Kaveri’ is highlighted with numerous occasion wear offerings for the festive season.

The store features a white seating area and delicate floral wall hangings across the space to create a soothing ambience. The store also features a children’s wear segment for the brand’s ‘Baby K’ label. Kaveri’s signature linens and feminine details are rendered as whimsical children’s clothing with loose layers and embroidered details.

“Not only does this space serve as the portal into the glorious world of linen, but also offers momentary respite from the hustle and bustle of the city with a cosy space while comforting you with a choice of peppermint tea, masala chai or cappuccino- a tasteful prelude for what’s to come,” the brand announced in a press release.
