Katrina Kaif picked as Lenskart brand ambassador
The Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has been chosen by Lenskart to be their brand ambassador with a two year contract and she will be featuring in their upcoming advertising campaigns.
Katrina Kaif, who has also just been booked to be a brand ambassador for Metro Shoes, will now be advertising for Lenskart eyewear following her recent acting successes.
Kaif said about her new role: “I am delighted to be associated with Lenskart. It's very important for me to find synergies with my brand associations and I believe Lenskart resonates the same. Lenskart is a brand loved by Indian youth and this is a conscious effort to connect with the fashion savvy Indians.” Kaif’s young appeal and status as a fashion influencer will indeed help the brand to reach a younger and more style-orientated audience.
Peyush Bansal, the Founder and CEO of Lenskart, said about the collaboration: “Katrina, we feel, is all of this too naturally, hence a perfect fit and not a forced fit. We were looking for someone who naturally fits the Lenskart brand proposition of 'Addictive Playfulness'. Katrina fits this the most. Her song 'Kala Chashma' was a phenomenal success and we think she will be really successful with the actual chashma (spectacles) as well.”
