Katrina Kaif to launch beauty brand Kay by Katrina

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif will launch her new cosmetics line “Kay by Katrina” on October 22 on multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa. 

Katrina Kaif is gearing up to launch her first ever beauty brand, Kay by Katrina and also referred to as “Kay Beauty”, the actress announced on her Facebook page on October 16. Kaif also launched an official Instagram page for Kay by Katrina on Wednesday and posted the first promotional video for the cosmetics line. 

So far, Kaif has only released several teaser photos of makeup looks. In the brand’s first ever shoot, Kaif and a model are seen wearing a deep red lip, smoky eyes, and blush.

“For as long as I can remember, makeup has been an innate part of my journey- from the runway to the big screen, and now I have rendered my love for it to Kay Beauty, my first ever beauty brand,” said Kaif in a statement, as reported by Koimoi. 

Kaif had already spoken about launching a beauty line this year in interviews back in May. “It’s a big venture that has been more than two years in the making. These two years have been a lot of work... A lot of effort has gone behind it and now that it’s getting closer to the launch, there’s a lot more excitement,” Kaif said, reported by Vogue India.
