Karleo launches ‘Garden of Eden’ festive collection in Mumbai

Karleo, a label by designer duo Karan Berry, Leon Vaz has launched its new festive collection 2017 ‘Garden of Eden’. The collection was launched at a fashion event at Olive Canvas in Mumbai.
 

Model and actor Waluscha De Sousa was the showstopper for the evening walking the ramp in an outfit that had a frosted jewelled bodice over a satin faced organza striped skirt from Karleo’s latest festive collection.
 
The collection features demi couture gowns and dresses that are coupled with accessories like capes, jackets, and shoulder pads, with ruffles and feathers, along with head pieces, combs and belts in wire-mounted crystal.

Karleo is looking to tap into the growing designer wear segment in India with the timely launch of this collection during the festive and year end season.
 
Models Naveli Deshmukh, Apeksha Porwal, Shannon Gonsalves and Srishti Vyakaranam also walked in gowns from the demi-couture collection by Karleo.
 
Leading Indian celebs like Candice Pinto, Mandana Karimi, Deepti Gujral, Suchitra Pillai, Asif Azim, Ira Dubey amongst others were also present at the event.
 
Karleo was founded in March 2013 by designers Karan and Leon. The brand caters to clientele of international labels like Armani, Valentino, Marchesa and Ralph Lauren. Karleo has also designed for celebrities like Simi Garewal, Sonali Bendre, and Sandeepa Dhar.
