The Karl Lagerfeld brand will no longer distribute its fragrances with the Coty Group. A new agreement has been signed by both parties officially ending their 7 year agreement. The agreement gives Coty the right to continue to sell their remaining Karl Lagerfeld stock.

Karl Lagerfeld most recent fragrance with the group, Karleidoscope, was released in 2011.

“It has been an honor to work with a designer as renowned as Karl Lagerfeld,” said Jean Mortier, president of Coty Prestige. “However,” he continued, “our respective strategies are no longer in line with each other.” A new distribution partner is expected to be announced shortly.
