Karen Millen is celebrating the relationship between art and fashion by creating an art atelier. This season’s art atelier, which follows the brand’s past success with pop-up ateliers in Selfridges and its Knightsbridge flagship store, shows the work of protégés of Graduate Fashion Week.

The atelier, which is located in the brand’s Shoreditch headquarters, produces fashion pieces from scratch, from a sketch to in-house production. The atelier collections are a showcase of craftsmanship, technique, creativity and innovation.

This season, the young emerging talents showcase their work through a series of prints. Five prints in total have been painted and digitally generated in-house resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces like a leather biker jacket, a pleated maxi skirt and a studded tee to name a few.

Karen Millen has stores in over 65 countries across six continents including flagship stores in London’s Knightsbridge and New York’s Fifth Avenue.
