Kareena to be Shantanu & Nikhil’s showstopper at LFW grand finale

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be the showstopper for designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil at the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 on February 3 at Sophia College in Mumbai.
 

The Lakme Fashion Week grand finale will have a new venue this time as Sophia College will host the mega fashion event for the first time. Designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil will bring the curtains down on the event with their collection 'Recruit SS'19'.
 
Commenting on the grand finale, Kareena Kapoor Khan in a statement said, “Walking at the LFW finale is always very special for me and this season I'm thrilled that Lakme is going a step further to create the ultimate finale. Walking the runway for Shantanu and Nikhil will be a lot of fun as I love their unique style and edgy designs.”

Shantanu and Nikhil said, “The really couldn't be a better showstopper to work with than Kareena, who has been breath-taking at every finale and is a fantastic showstopper. With her, and the glorious backdrop that Sophia's would present, we really couldn't have asked for a better combination for our first finale ever."
 
Gaurav Gupta will open the Lakmé Fashion Week on January 29.
