Kareena to be Gauri & Nainika's showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week finale

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will walk the ramp as the showstopper for designer duo Gauri & Nainika at the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive edition.
 

The designer duo will showcase their collection based on LFW’s theme for the fashion week, which revolves around the theme of freedom of expression, #FreeYourLips.
 
"This time, I'm especially excited about the theme for the season, #FreeYourLips. It's not just about beauty but symbolises lightness and energy and is all about not letting anything weigh you down,” said Khan, who is also the brand ambassador for Lakme.

Commenting on the designer duo, Khan added, "Their style is very glam and fluid, and I love how they have interpreted #FreeYourLips and can't wait for everyone to see their vision on the finale runway. This theme has inspired the new Matte Revolution lipsticks which I love and also Gauri & Nainika's collection.
 
The five-day fashion event will see participation by leading fashion designers along with new talent from across the country. LFW will celebrate 20 years with this edition.
 
The upcoming edition of Lakmé Fashion Week is scheduled to take place from August 21 to 25 in Mumbai. The grand finale show will take place at the monumental venue of Richardson & Cruddas.
