Kapiva enters US with new wholly owned subsidiary, new appointments

Ayurvedic personal care and lifestyle brand Kapiva has entered the US market with a new, wholly owned subsidiary named ‘Kapiva Inc’. The business has appointed Nicholas Kelley as the subsidiary’s CEO and Maria N. Lacher as chief marketing officer.

Seeing a large opportunity for growth in the US market, Kapiva has entered the country and aims to introduce modern Ayurvedic goods to households across the globe, the brand announced in a press release on June 2. Over the past three years, Kapiva has witnessed 7.5 times growth and it expects expanding into the US to help it continue its growth streak.  
 
“Herbal supplements have gained worldwide recognition as a global phenomenon, driven by the increasing focus on holistic wellness,” said Kelley in a press release.

“I am glad to join Kapiva - a company that has recognised the immense potential and is redefining traditional science with a modern twist. Their innovative thinking and in-depth understanding of consumers is truly exceptional.”

“I am elated to be a part of the Kapiva family and contribute to simplifying Ayurveda for global audiences,” said Lacher. “From brand building, I am looking forward to making Ayurveda and Kapiva appealing to the US market, implementing strategies with target-oriented campaigns, and bringing innovation in the product category.”

Kapiva aims to achieve a combined revenue of Rs 600 crore in the coming three years. The business creates Ayurvedic products including skincare, haircare, lifestyle supplements, and weight-loss goods among others.
