Kanaka Jewellers opens new store in Delhi
Fine jewellery brand Kanaka Jewellers has opened a new store in New Delhi’s Karol Bagh district and the space was inaugurated by Union Ministers Ramdas Athawale and Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
The new Kanaka Jewellers store is located in the popular New Delhi jewellery shopping district Karol Bagh, which is home to numerous traditional gold jewellery stores. The retail outlet houses the brand’s wide range of bridal jewellery as well as more lightweight options for daily wear.
Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale spoke at the recent inauguration about Indians’ love for gold jewellery as an auspicious purchase for all life events, Asian News International reported. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution and Environment, Forest, and Climate Change also congratulated Kanaka Jewellers owner Sanchali Day for opening the brick-and-mortar outlet.
“I am a designer so that people can get the jewellery of their choice, for that I started this jewellery showroom, this is the first jewellery showroom of a Bengali woman in the entire Karol Bagh,” said Day at the opening, GPRC reported. “You can buy all types of jewellery here, especially [for] brides. We will get their favourite jewellery designed by our extremely talented designers.”
