Natural skincare brand Kama Ayurveda opened its first “experiential store” in Gurugram’s Ambience Island on January 9 as the brand aims to offer offline exclusive experiences to customers.

Kama Ayurveda’s first ever experiential store aims to showcase the brand’s personal care products in an environment that reflects its brand values, it announced on Facebook. Along with retailing the brand’s full product selection, the new store concept enables customers to try out products and experience a number of spa treatments.

The store offers six different face and hair treatments and different massages in a specially designed space. Treatments include a “Gauri Facial”, “Padabhyanga” foot rub, and “Rudra” hydrating men’s facial, all carried out using the brand’s own products.

“Kama Ayurveda Experiences is the natural progression of the brand narrative,” the brand’s co-founder Vivek Sahni told Vogue India about the new store. “It is an opportunity for our discerning customers to experience the efficacy of our products, administered by trained therapists in a calm and soothing environment.”

Kama Ayurveda launched in 2002 and currently has 47 stores in over 20 Indian cities. Following the customer response, the brand’s new experiential store concept could soon open in other locations.
