Kalyan Jewellers strengthens retail presence with store in Mumbai

Kalyan Jewellers, one of India’s largest jewellery companies has strengthened its retail presence in western Indian with the launch of its 8th showroom in the city of Mumbai.

The new showroom located at Kelkar Road, Dombivali was inaugurated by the brand’s regional ambassador Prabhu Ganesan.

Commenting on the launch, TS Kalyanaraman, mqnqging director of Kalyan Jewellers in a statement said, “We are extremely delighted to launch our 8th showroom in Mumbai at Dombivali. Over the years, we have built a significant presence across key markets in the state and with the launch of the new showroom, we aim to make the brand more accessible in the region. We aim to offer a best-in-class buying experience, while ensuring the safety and health of our patrons and the community at large by providing a hygienic and personalized shopping environment.”

Kalyan Jewellers plans to open 10 new brick-and-mortar stores before Diwali and invest around Rs 250 crore ($31.5 million) to Rs 300 crore. The store openings will comprise three in Delhi/NCR, three in Uttar Pradesh, two in Maharashtra, and one each in Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

Kalyan Jewellers is one of the world’s largest jewellery retailers with 158 showrooms spread across India and four countries in the Middle East.
