Kalyan Jewellers opens fifth showroom in Bengaluru

Kalyan Jewellers has strengthened its presence in the city of Bangalore with the opening of its fifth exclusive outlet in the city at Marathahalli.
 

The new store is located at Varthur Main Road, Marathahalli and will offer gold, diamond, and studded jewellery. It was inaugurated by the company’s brand ambassadors and popular South Indian actors Shivrajkumar and Nagarjuna.
 
Kalyan Jewellers had entered the city of Bengaluru in 2010 and sees it as one of the important growth markets for the company.

Commenting on the store opening, Kalyan Jewellers Chairman and Managing Director T.S. Kalyanaraman in a statement said, “Kalyan Jewellers has been warmly received in Bengaluru, and it is this that encouraged us to launch a new outlet in Marathahalli.
 
“Bengaluru is an important growth market for the brand and the state of Karnataka has always shown tremendous potential. The investment in Marathahalli is part of our strategy to establish a stronger presence in this city and also make Kalyan Jewellers more accessible to our customers,” he added.
 
Kalyan Jewellers has planned massive expansion in India and overseas markets earmarking Rs 1000 crore (approx $145.3 million) for the opening of 20 exclusive stores during the financial year.
 
Kalyan Jewellers is one of the country’s top jewellery firms and has over 130 stores in the Indian and overseas markets.
