K L Rahul’s Gully goes online on Koovs
Indian cricket player KL Rahul ‘s athleisure brand ‘Gully’ has collaborated with e-commerce firm Koovs to launch the brand’s exclusive lines on the platform as it looks to cash in on the ongoing India-England cricket series.
The cricketer had launched his athleisure brand in partnership with Zeko Online in April. Zeko is responsible for retailing and marketing the brand on e-commerce firms. Gully is already being sold in India online on leading fashion firms like Myntra and Jabong.
Koovs is looking to win the e-fashion market in India and associations like these are expected to help the e-commerce major acquire new customers in the country while for Gully, which is currently an online only brand, it is another platform to expand its visibility and boost sales.
Commenting on the association with Gully, Mary Turner, CEO of Koovs in a statement said, “Athleisure and streetwear are highly popular with our globally connected, tech-savvy and style-conscious 20-something customers. KL Rahul is an icon of youth culture in India and so Gully is a perfect brand for Koovs.com customers.”
The streetwear brand Gully is targeted mainly at the youth and the range currently includes tee-shirts, joggers, shorts, jeans and sweatshirts.
