Following on from Junior’s Fashion Weeks in Hyderabad on February 17 and Chennai on March 3, Bengaluru hosted the latest event in this year’s schedule. On Saturday, the child models had a day of auditions, training, and grooming as part of the event’s aim of introducing children to the fashion industry and building their confidence. On Sunday, the runway shows kicked off.

Billieblush presented a whimsical and girly collection with slogan t-shirts and full skirts and Flying Machine Boyzone presented practical but bright boy’s wear. Boss Hugo Boss’ offerings were mature and smart and Timberland presented a beach-inspired collection for summer. Other brands included US Polo Assn, DKNY, and The Children’s Place.

ShadowZ Photography was the event’s “memory partner” and documented the event. The “styling partner” was Lakmé Academy and professionals groomed the child models and gave them tips for their nascent modelling journeys.

Next on the schedule, Junior’s Fashion Week will travel to Kolkata from April 20 to 21 for an event at the Oberoi Grand. Following that, the fashion week will take place in Chandigarh with runway shows planned for May 4 and 5 at the city’s JW Marriott. Finally, New Delhi will host the fashion event from May 18 to 19 at the Pullman.
