Having enlisted the services of James Franco, Balthazar Klarwein and Nino Munoz, the American designer Stuart Weitzman - who has 45 stores throughout the United States, 62 international stores and 14 shop-in-shop - has chosen Julia Restoin Roitfeld for his fourth short film.

The daughter of Carine Roitfeld, the former editor of French Vogue, and Christian Restoin, designer for the shirt brand Equipment, which found success in the 90s, Julia Restoin Roitfeld has worked as a model (Benetton perfume Tom Ford, Sisley...) as well as the face of Givenchy before becoming a luxury consultant for Prada and the Miu Miu, besides founding her own online magazine www.romyandthebunnies.com.

For her first short film, entitled "Rock Roll Ride", Julia Restoin Roitfeld takes inspiration from the 60s, playing with a split screen format that incorporates the kind of images one might find in an old edition of Playboy magazine, with actresses Poppy Delevingne and Dylan Penn representing Stuart Weitzman’s “sexy, spirited and playful woman”.

With music by Lana del Rey, the designer highlights the American designer’s boots with miniskirts and retro fluffy sweaters. It’s a dream for the designer, who admits that she “did not hesitate in saying yes to Stuart Weitzman”, as she is "crazy about shoes."
