Joy signs Mithila Palkar as brand ambassador

Rsh Global-owned personal and beauty care brand Joy has signed actress Mithila Palkar as the brand ambassador of its newly launched Joy mineral sunscreen.
 

Joy has launched a campaign featuring Palkar to promote its newly launched product. The integrated campaign includes print ads and multi-city activations.
 
The brand is confident that Palkar’s connect with the youth across India will help boost sales of its newly launched product and expects strong growth of its sunscreen category.

Commenting on Palkar’s association with the brand, Poulomi Roy, chief marketing officer at Rsh Global, in a statement said: “New age content has been hailed by the youth of the country and Mithila Palkar has become synonymous with the new age content. She has nationwide popularity and that’s what mattered when we signed her for the brand. We are confident that the youth will be able to connect with our brand and the campaign story.”
 
Commenting on the product, Palkar said: “Sunscreen is a part of my daily skincare routine and that’s what the TVC is all about, the difference is in the product. The concept of ‘Mineral sunscreen’ or ‘No chemical sunscreen’ is very innovative. A 100 percent natural SPF is something that we all would look forward to.”
