Johnson & Johnson’s new Cottontouch baby care line will feature products including lotion, oil, wash, and cream, the brand announced on Saturday, the Press Trust of India reported.

The products will be in stores and online in a few weeks and will retail on multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Nykaa, Flipkart, Amazon India, BigBasket, and FirstCry, among others.

“This unique launch during these unprecedented times is an effort to address the increasing demand for efficacious products, based on science from trustworthy baby care brands in India,” Johnson & Johnson said in a statement, the Press Trust of India reported.

“We have seen the demand for baby care significantly growing in the Indian market, even during lockdown phase and the ask from moms for the highest standard of safety in these times has inspired us to launch this product,” said Johnson & Johnson’s vice president of marketing for its India consumer division, Manoj Gadgil.

In June, Johnson & Johnson announced that it will stop selling its Clean & Clear line of skin-lightening products in India following increased discourse on racial equality. The brand has also stopped retailing its baby power products in the U.S. and Canada following legal action and, although it is still retailing the products in India, plans to scale down its production.
