The clothing brand Jodi has launched its first Jodi Silk menswear collection, a line of hand-block printed silk jackets and kurtas.

“We’ve launched a 'little' line of silk kurtas and jackets,” wrote the brand on its social media on May 16. “Handblock printed on pure silk, these feature our signature Jodi Prints.” The brand also described the line as “really well priced” in line with the label's position in the mid-section of the market.
The line features brightly hued prints of leaves, fruit, and flowers and fusion wear-style tailoring. The brand previously carried a small selection of menswear shirts but this is its first fusion wear collection and most comprehensive menswear offering yet as the brand continues to expand its product categories.
Jodi has also recently been expanding its consumer base through “Jodi House Party” events. The brand recently traveled to New Delhi for a pop-up shop with the jewellery brand Zariin in Shibuya Bar to launch its Orient Express womenswear collection.
Jodi was founded by fashion stylists turned design-duo Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani as a brand to bring 100 percent Indian textiles to a wider and younger audience. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store which offers international shipping and the brand is headquartered in Pune.
