Jockey India partners with FC Goa
The innerwear and athleisure brand Jockey India has partnered with football club FC Goa for the 2019/20 season.
With this partnership, Jockey will be creating fan engagement zones at the club’s home ground at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa.
The company expects to enhance its visibility and customer base with this association and confident that it will result in strong sales for the brand.
Commenting on the partnership, Aditya Datta FC Goa chief operating officer in a statement said, “With our visions aligned at being trailblazers in our respective fields, Jockey and FC Goa will partner to become the change they want to see. Jockey was clear about their focus being enhancing fan experience and building on fan culture in sport.”
M C Cariappa, president marketing at Jockey India added, “Jockey is committed to the endeavour of exciting and inspiring customers to lead an active lifestyle. We see this partnership growing in strength in the coming years.”
For the fiscal year 2018-19, Jockey India had reported a net profit of Rs 394 crore ($55.7 million) while its sales revenue was Rs 2852 crore.
It currently has around 620 exclusive brand stores and sells in over 800 departmental stores and 50,000 plus multi-brand retail stores.
