Designer Vivek Narang will bring his latest collection to Bengaluru for the showcase event. With a range of brightly coloured coats and winter wear made from Suzani textiles sourced from Bukhara and Samarkand, Narang’s latest collection mixes sustainable production with avant-garde aesthetics.

Jiyo will showcase a range of scarves in natural hues and navy blue with simple patterns and an understated aesthetic. Baavanbuti cotton sarees and embroidery from Sujini, Bihar, showcase India’s rich artisan textile tradition.

Cinnamon recently held a pop-up exhibition for the NGO and saree production collective, WomenWeave. The brand showcased a collection of handloom Garbhareshmi sarees from Maheshwar made by the organisation’s 300-strong team of female weavers. Multi-brand luxury boutique Cinnamon opened its doors in 1999 and retails a range of brands including Buna Studio, Kouka, and Peachoo among others.

Jiyo launched 10 years ago and has three main product lines: rural products market Jiva, affordable range of handcraft products Jaani, and luxury boutique and export line Jiyo. The brand works with artisans in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh to create handloom products and preserve heritage artisan crafts.

Vivek Narang is based in New Delhi and is known for his use of colour and textiles from both India and countries such as Thailand and Cambodia, as well as Central Asia. The designer has worked with textiles for close to three decades.
