Jimmy Choo launches 'Made-to-Order' service in India
Luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo has launched its ‘Made-to-Order’ service in India in select stores in Delhi and Mumbai. The service enables customers to personalise 21 shoe silhouettes and four accessory styles.
Jimmy Choo customers in India will now have access to its custom order service, the brand announced in a press release. Each bespoke design is hand-finished by one of the brand’s in-house artisans and each Made-to-Order piece is made in Italy and delivered between eight to 10 weeks after the initial design consultation in an exclusive, branded velvet box.
“Personalisation and bespoke touches allow clients to create truly one-of-a-kind designs and make Made-to-Order pieces the perfect investment for prospective brides,” announced the brand in a press release. “Clients can add up to four characters from an alphabet of blue or golden letters, numbers and symbols to create their own unique signature or commemorate a special six-digit date on the soles of their bespoke shoes. Alternatively, an engraved gold or silver plaque may be added to the soles of bespoke shoes or the inside of a custom handbag.”
Footwear available for customisation includes strappy sandals and sneakers for day to night options and handbags range from evening bags to more casual cross-body styles. Launching the service in the Indian market shows the brand’s dedication to continuing to pursue growth in the region.
