Jewellery brand Nimai collaborates with acid attack survivor for ‘Promise’ collection

Indian designer jewellery brand Nimai has collaborated with acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal to launch its first in house collection titled “Promise’.

The promise collection will include unique designer bangles which have a secret compartment to store a hand written vow. The collection is priced at Rs 2990 (approx $50) and will be available in gold and rose gold polish colors.
 
“Since Nimai’s inception in 2013, we envisioned a platform where people, purpose, business and soul connect over a mutual love for jewellery. A space where jewellery is not experienced merely as an ornament but as an instrument of Hope, Change and Promise - This thought inspired us to create Nimai’s very first product aptly titled Promise,” Pooja Roy Yadav, Founder & CEO, Nimai said in a statement.

Commenting on her association with Laxmi, Pooja said “With the launch of Promise, Nimai promises to support Laxmi and spread global awareness on her victories.  Every month, 3% of the sales will go towards fulfilling her dreams of a brighter future,”
 
The promise collection will be available on the brand’s website and flagship stores. The brand has also launched a design cell through which in plans to launch in house jewellery collections this year by collaborating with Indian artisans
 
Nimai is India’s first multi designer jewellery platform and has over 90 jewellery artists that include Suhani Pittie, Eina Ahluwalia, Outhouse, Amrapali, Absynthe Designs, Deepa Gurnani, Zariin, Studio Metallurgy, Chicory Chai, Swarovski Confluence amongst others.
