Jewellery brand Kisna to take franchise route to accelerate growth

Diamond and gold jewellery brand Kisna from the House of HK is planning to strengthen its retail network through the franchise model to fuel its growth in the Indian market.

The brand currently has a distribution-driven model and aims to further strengthen associations with new and existing retailers through rapid franchise expansion across India.

Kisna recently celebrated its 18th anniversary with the launch of a new logo and sub-brand ‘Rare’ to strengthen its customer base.

Commenting on the new identity, Ghanshyam Dholakia, chairman Kisna in a statement said, “As we strive to adapt and embrace the changing times, consumer preferences, and trends, the new identity and logo is a potent way to become a powerhouse in the domestic market. With Rare, we will speak to a distinctive set of consumers looking to celebrate their unique story, whether of personal success or love.”

Parag Shah, director Kisna added, “With an aim to be the preferred diamond and gold jewellery partner in our consumers' lives, we will be focusing our efforts on accelerating expansion through our franchise model. In the digital age, we are improvising and further building our online presence as well, to be more relevant to the consumers. Kisna Real is the retail brand of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt and currently has more than 3,500 outlets across 29 states in India.
