Jewellery brand Kisna opens first North India franchise store in Hisar

Kisna has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in the north of India in Hisar. The new franchise store from the Hari Krishna Group brand retails a wide range of fine jewellery, curated for local tastes. 

Kisna’s new store opened in Hisar’s PLA Market on November 22, the brand announced on Facebook. The franchise store is part of the brand’s plan to continue with a rapid franchise expansion across India, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced on its website. 
 
“Kisna, being the flagship brand of Hari Krishna Group brings to forth the endeavour of the company towards making the brand accessible and relatable for the modern Indian women across the country,” said Hari Krishna Group founder Ghanshyam Dholakia, the GJEPC reported. “As part of our rapid franchise expansion plans, we envision Kisna to continue to be a partner and confidante to every woman on all the occasions that she chooses to celebrate. Keeping up with the momentum, we are positive that with the support of our existing retailers and new partners we will contribute to the growth of the jewellery industry in India.”

The store was inaugurated by local celebrity Rashami Desaijoin  alongside Dholakia. The business now has a retail footprint of over 3,500 stores across India. 
 
“Northern India is a key market for Kisna and the launch of the store in Hisar marks the next phase of growth for us in line with our expansion plans,” said Kisna’s director Parag Shah. “The strides we are making are not only to achieve our business goals but also to strengthen our connection with local consumers. The store in Hisar houses the versatile offerings of Kisna that are designed to meet the local jewellery preferences ranging from contemporary to classic and traditional designs.”
