Jewellers showcase designs on the runway at Bangalore Times Fashion Week

Kumkum Real Collection by Vishwas Jewels and Padmawati Gems and Jewellery both presented bridal jewellery on the runway at Bangalore Times Fashion Week, each in collaboration with a traditional wear brand. 

Fine jewellery brand Padmawati Gems and Jewellery teamed up with traditional wear brand Indralokk to mix its opulent jewels with the brand’s classic occasion wear on the runway at day two of Bangalore Times Fashion Week.

The both jewellery and garments alike glittered as they swanned down the runway and bejewelled gowns and lehengas were paired with diamond chokers and earrings. Showstopper Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre closed the show in a golden ensemble complete with a sparkling neckpiece. 

Kumkum Real Collection by Vishwas Jewels partnered with saree brand Pathi Silks for its showcase. The jewellery brand presented everything from large gold belts to maang tikas, to statement earrings to cuffs and bangles, all featuring intricate embossed details and precious gems. Pathi Silks’ classic metallic sarees complimented the collection’s cinematic style to create an aesthetic which brought to mind vintage Bollywood. 

Bangalore Times Fashion Week held its sixth edition from December 28 to 29 and live streamed the event on Flipkart’s mobile app. The fashion week featured a wide array of Indian designers with a focus on ethical fashion.
