Jeanologia to showcase sustainable practices at Bangladesh Denim Expo

Eco-efficient textiles business Jeanologia will showcase its latest technologies and commitment to increasing productivity and efficiency in Bangladesh’s denim industry at the Bangladesh Denim Expo which runs in Dhaka from November 15 to 16.

At the Dhaka trade show, Jeanologia will showcase its services and technology with with Laundry5.Zero, a jeans finishing plant which guarantees zero contamination of its surroundings, the business announced in a press release. The eco-efficient plat guarantees guarantees 85% savings in water usage as well as its zero-contamination pledge. 
 
“Bangladesh has great potential and can become the world’s denim-producing powerhouse,” said Jeanologia’s Asia area manager Manuj Kanchan in a press release. “For 20 years at Jeanologia, we have been promoting the development of its textile industry with comprehensive technologies and innovative processes that provide greater efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness. Technologies that allow us to face the challenges of the future, reducing costs as well as the country's water and environmental footprint.”

Kanchan will also lead a conference titled ‘Clean Up-Bright Future Ahead’ at the trade show, which will explore ways to make the country’s textile industry a sustainable and circular one. This year, Jeanologia celebrates its 20thanniversary of working in the Bangladeshi textile industry. The Spanish business has 10 subsidiaries and exports its products and services to 72 countries on five continents.
