Jaypore opens first store in Lucknow

Jaypore has set foot in Lucknow and opened its first ever brick-and-mortar store in the city. The Indian traditional wear and lifestyle retailer’s new outlet is located on the second floor of the city’s Phoenix Palassio mall.

Jaypore’s new store in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar Extension has a spacious, bright interior, accented by traditional-inspired lighting and heritage style decorative elements, highlighting the business’ focus on Indian aesthetics. The store has a dedicated segment for sarees and another for jewellery and the focus is on the lifestyle retailer’s fashion offering.

“A crucible of culture and craft, Lucknow has been on our minds for the longest time,” wrote Jaypore on Facebook as it announced the new store. “‘We need to be there’ was a constant conversation at Jaypore. And finally that dream has come true! So Lucknow, here we are in your beautiful, historic city, come spend some time with us. We’ve got trunk fulls of splendrous silks, buttery Chanderis and the softest cottons for you. We’ve brought exquisite artisan-made silver jewellery; the most flaunt-worthy juttis and elevated ethnic wear for the men-folk, and so much more.”

The business also recently held a ‘Jaypore Utsav’ at its Turner Road store in Bandra, Mumbai, Jaypore announced on Facebook. The event was co-hosted by Hello! India’s creative director Avantikka Kilachand Raju and featured a runway show for Jaypore’s new festive clothing collection. The event also featured an interactive block-printing workshop and home décor collection launch.
