Jayanti Reddy to hold bridal showcase in New Delhi

Traditional and occasional wear designer Jayanti Reddy will hold a ‘Bridal Exhibit’ wedding-themed shopping event at her eponymous brand’s flagship store in Mehrauli, New Delhi on February 12. 

The upcoming bridal showcase will have a special focus on Banaras weaves, the brand announced on Facebook. Jayanti Reddy’s latest bridal wear collection is inspired by the, “inherent magic and practiced meditation” of these heritage weaves. 
 
Banaras handloom textiles are seen in Reddy’s bridal sarees and lehengas paired with heavily embellished blouses in hues of magenta, royal purple, and red. Scalloped edges and floral motifs give the brand’s latest collection a highly feminine feel and traditional colour schemes are contrasted with bright yellow and ivory. 

The brand recently held a shopping fair at its Mehrauli flagship store from January 29 to 31 with promotional offers on its end of season pieces. Both this event and the upcoming event follow social distancing guidelines. 
 
Jayanti Reddy launched her eponymous brand in 2012 after studying business administration and marketing in the U.S. Her brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store, flagship store, and multi-brand boutiques both online and offline.
