Japanese eyewear brand Owndays expands India presence with first store in Delhi - Owndays

Owndays continues to remain bullish about the Indian market, despite the Covid-19 disruptions, and has recently opened stores in cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh over the last few months, in collaboration with its India partner, GKB Opticals.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Malhotra, business head of India at Owndays, in a statement said: “We are making great strides within India and extremely thrilled that our product has not even been loved by customers but is referred to as well to their friends and family. The demand for quality eyewear has never been this big before. People not only are price sensitive but quality conscious too and we meet that demand to ensure that a happy customer walks out of our doors, to come back again. The fact that we are opening new stores during Covid environment justifies my statement above.”

Established in Tokyo, Japan in 1989, Owndays Co Ltd has a global presence of 350 stores spread across 12 countries.
