The Fashion Design Council of India has partnered with the Embassy of Japan for this exclusive show.
Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to India, in a statement said, “FDCI and the Embassy of Japan have been enjoying a great partnership with each other. Moving forward in this direction, it is our great pleasure to introduce Atsushi Nakashima, a promising Japanese fashion designer, to the Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week.”
FDCI President, Sunil Sethi, added, “There is no doubt that the Japanese are trendsetters not just in the world of technology but also design. So this association will be fruitful both academically and aesthetically as the land of the rising sun is where a new ideology is born.
Atsushi Nakashima previously worked as an assistant designer with Jean Paul Gaultier and also showcased at Milan Fashion Week in the past.
The Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week in association with NEXA will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi from October 10 to 13.
