Japanese brand Daiso opens store in Lulu Mall Lucknow

Value retailer Daiso has opened its first store in Uttar Pradesh within Lulu Mall in Lucknow. The Japanese business’ new address houses a wide array of accessories and homeware among other products. 

“The renowned Japanese value store, Daiso Japan, has opened their first store in UP in Lulu Mall, Lucknow,” Lulu Mall Lucknow announced on Facebook. “Now enjoy shopping with a wide range of products at affordable prices.”
 
The store retails Japanese goods at value prices, ranging from fashion accessories to personal care products to homeware and tableware among other products. The store has an open plan set up, bright pink façade, and brightly lit interior. 

Daiso Industries Company Limited is headquartered in Higashihiroshima, Japan and was established in 1977. The business first entered into talks to enter the Indian market with Reliance Retail in 2011. 
 
Lulu Mall is owned by real estate and retail business Lulu Group, owned by M A Yusuff Ali, a Kerala-born, UAE-based entrepreneur and billionaire. The business runs a number of malls in India and plans to open the largest mall in India to date in Ahmedabad.
