Janavi opens store in Jaipur’s Sujan Rajmahal Palace

Janavi has opened a new store inside the Sujan Rajmahal Palace in Jaipur called 'The Janavi Pink' to house its selection of luxury shawls and Royal Rajmata Padmini Devi inaugurated the store with a Champagne High Tea.

 
On December 14, Royal Rajmata Padmini Devi joined Janavi’s founder and creative director, Jyotika Jhalani, to open the new Janavi store with a showcase and high tea event. Located inside the heritage palace, the boutique now counts fashion and lifestyle retailer Good Earth as its neighbour. Jhalani said on the brand’s Facebook page that she has always been inspired by the city of Jaipur with its iconic culture and artisan history.

The store is decorated in blush pink and champagne hues with chandeliers and large, ornate mirrors. A range of floral printed armchairs give the space a more relaxed and welcoming feel and decorative plants add a natural touch. As well as the brand’s signature collection of printed and embellished shawls, the store also houses a small selection of women’s ready-to-wear. 

The brand also recently launched 'The Janavi Pink', an exclusive pink shawl intended to raise awareness of breast cancer. The shawl features hand-embroidered beaded elephants and a portion of the profits will be donated to increase breast cancer awareness, the brand announced on Facebook.
