Jade launches perfume line with Naso Profumi

Women’s ready-to-wear brand Jade by Monica and Karishma has collaborated with sustainable perfume brand Naso Profumi to launch new fragrance line ‘Scents of Jade’.

The launch includes two fragrances, ‘Oud Mud’ and ‘Pepper Wood’, as well as a range of luxury candles. The scents have been manufactured using environmentally friendly and waste reduction methods and are designed to capture the essence of Jade by Monica and Karishma’s feminine aesthetic.
 
The ‘Jade x Naso’ perfumes are, “rooted in traditional artistry and retold in modern forms,” the brand announced on Facebook. Jade designers Monica Shah and Karishma Swali worked with Naso Profumi founder Astha Suri to develop the scents which will retail on both brands’ respective websites and in stores. 

Jade also recently launched its latest occasion wear collection ‘Gulaal – Shades of Love’ which mixes sequins, sheer layers, and a mix of bright and pastel hues for an ethereal, womanly aesthetic. The collection’s ruffled blouses and glittering skirts are light and floaty to add a touch of carefree glamour to the classic traditional look. 
 
Monica Shah and Karishma Swali launched Jade alongside a bridal couture line and the brand retails from its flagship stores in Mumbai and Hyderabad as well as online. Shah and Swali also run The Chanakya Foundation as an organisation to empower rural women through skills development. The foundation runs The Chanakya School of Craft to teach women artisan skills.
