Jacqueline Fernandes announced as Colorbar global brand ambassador

Jacqueline Fernandes is the new global brand ambassador for Colorbar Cosmetics, the business’ founder and managing director, Samir Modi, announced on March 28.

The former Miss Universe Sri Lanka and Bollywood celebrity Jacqueline Fernandes has been appointed as the new face of Colorbar Cosmetics and stepped into her role with a new exclusive campaign. For her first task as brand ambassador, Fernandes is promoting the makeup brand’s new 'Glitter Me All' range which features heavily pigmented and glittery lipsticks, lip glosses, eye palettes, and highlighters.

“We are thrilled to announce Jacqueline Fernandez as the face of Colorbar with ‘Glitter Me All’ collection,” wrote the brand on its social media on Thursday.

Colorbar underwent a brand revamp last year as part of its parent company Modi Enterprises’ plan to position the brand for international expansion. Colorbar already has a small presence in the Middle East, which it plans to expand and aims to open stores in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and China, before foraying into the European market.

Colorbar was launched in 2004 and is based in New Delhi. The brand retails a range of cosmetics, skincare products, and make up accessories such as makeup brushes. The company has a dedicated e-commerce website and its products are also available in branded outlets across India.
