Italian watch brand Meccaniche Veneziane enters Indian market

Italian luxury watch brand Meccaniche Veneziane has joined hands with retailer Excedo Luxuria for its foray into the Indian market.

Excedo Luxuria will be the exclusive marketing and distribution partner for the brand in the country. It will be responsible for setting up retail stores for the brand and also look out for online partners to sell the brand exclusively in India.
 
Meccaniche Veneziane will offer a range of vintage-inspired timepieces at affordable prices that range between Rs 45,000 (approx $650) and Rs 75,000 (approx $1100) and targeting the next generation customers to drive growth.

"We are confident that Meccaniche Veneziane will offer design conscious consumers a beautiful brand experience by allowing them to explore new avenues in watch design," Alberto Morelli, Partner, Meccaniche Veneziane said in a statement.
 
Excedo Luxuria Co-Founder Rahul Kapoor added, “The brand delivers style and functionality combined with passionate Italian design. It is a niche brand positioned as an affordable luxury lifestyle product and will appeal to the new generation of watch enthusiasts”.
 
Excedo Luxuria is an Indian luxury firm that retails and distributes global luxury brands like Cecil Purnell, Laurent Ferrier, Fiona Kruger, Urwerk, Mad Paris among many others.
