The Italian fashion industry has launched a steady and original fashion initiative that promotes fashion students in Italian fashion schools. The Italian Camera Nazionale della Moda (CNMI) is dedicating a day to the designers in the framework of an event entitled "Milano Moda Graduate", giving a number of students the opportunity to present their work and show off their collections on the runway.

The first edition of "Milano Moda Graduate" will take place in Milan, at the La Triennale museum, on Thursday 2 July at 9.30 until 20h with a final runway show entitled "The best of", choosing the best selections, with everything being capped off by a big celebration in the gardens of the Triennale.

On the programme for the day, a series of runway shows, installations and presentations of accessories and clothing, as well as a conference open to the public.

Fourteen Italian schools of fashion have been selected to participate in the event: Accademia della Moda, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Accademia Euromediterranea, Accademia Galli, AFOL Moda, Ars Sutoria, Domus Academy, IED Moda, Istituto di Moda Burgo, Istituto Marangoni, Istituto Modartech, Istituto Secoli, NABA Nuova Accademia Belle Arti, Politecnico de Milan.

This initiative falls in line with the renewal process of the Camera della Moda, led by recently elected Carlo Capasa, in the continuation of the projects launched by the previous management board, in following with the transfer of the Fashion Chamber HQ, which will now boast a prestigious new locale facing the Milan Cathedral, at n° 31 la Piazza Duomo.
