The Italian fashion design school's fashion show took place in Mumbai earlier in the month. The school’s international designers Natalia Esteve, Pietro Fadda, Yiju Kim, Mana Jinyang, and Wang Di showcased designs on the runway. Meanwhile, students from the Indian chapter of the school Tanushka Joshi, Khushboo Banthia, Rafat Kazi, Zeba Basha, Suyash Soundalgekar, Shivani Parikh, Niveditha Rajmohan, and Antoinette Fernandes also presented their latest collections at the event.

Guests at the showcase included designer Rahul Mishra and a number of Bollywood celebrities including Soha Ali Khan. The showcase highlighted the innovative designs of Istituto Marangoni Mumbai’s students and looks ranged from athleisure to glittering evening wear.

“We are very proud of all the hard work that these young designers have put into their collections and are happy to see how well they were received,” Istituto Marangoni’s group managing director Roberto Riccio said about the event.

“This is also the first time students from our Mumbai school have taken the stage in such a big event and I’m optimistic about the level of talent that will come out from the Mumbai school.”
