Indya Luxe opens first store in Bengaluru

Women’s ethnic wear brand Indya has opened its first ever ‘India Luxe’ premium store in Bengaluru on the metro’s bustling Commercial Street. The new three-storey store is the brand’s largest brick-and-mortar outlet to date. 

“Curtains up- it's the all new Indya Luxe store,” announced Indya on Facebook. “Sprawled across three floors and exhibiting some of the finest occasion wear we have ever created, it's our largest store worldwide and is thoughtfully designed to give you a regal shopping experience.”
 
Indya’s parent company High Street Essentials’ co-founder Shivani Poddar inaugurated the store wearing an occasion wear look from Indya Luxe’s latest collection. The store focuses on bridal wear and features a spacious seating area, wide array of sarees and lehengas, and a wall showing an array of celebrities wearing the brand. 

Indya plans to open between seven and eight Indya Luxe stores this financial year in Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad, among other locations. While some of the stores will be company-owned, others will follow a franchise model. 
 
The brand is also keen to expand internationally and has it sights on the UAE, UK, Malaysia, and Nepal for brick-and-mortar openings. High Street Essentials has six international stores planned to launch in the near future.
