Indian Leather Products Association to hold online buyer seller summit

From January 28 to 30, the Indian Leather Products Association will hold its third online Buyer Seller Summit to showcase Indian-made leather products and promote the industry.

The ILPA's upcoming online trade show will follow on from two previous editions - Indian Leather Products Association- Facebook


The upcoming edition of the virtual leather goods trade show will feature product categories including handbags and accessories, among others. The event expects to welcome up to 500 delegates, according to its 10Times event page. 
 
“ILPA’s mission is to help Indian leather accessories industry achieve the top position in the global market,” said the organisation, announcing the event.

“The well equipped and socially compliant leather goods and accessories manufacturer/ exporters from India will be showcasing their fashionable and highest quality products. It is a golden opportunity for all leather product importers/ buyers/ brands/ retailers to source high quality leather products at most affordable prices.”
 
The online event will be held in line with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ campaign, which is designed to boost domestic production and exports across numerous sectors including the leather goods industry. The trade show aims to link manufacturers with buyers to enable brands to expand their distribution network and buyers to expand their product selections for export portfolios and boutiques. 
 
The Indian Leather Products Association was established in 1987 in Kolkata, and represents Indian leather manufacturers and retailers. The organisation runs a number of initiatives, including promoting eco-friendly leather, compliance and testing, and traceability.
