Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association names Rajeev Pandya as president

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association has named Rajeev Pandya as its president. Pandya was elected by the IDCA’s board of directors which also named new executive committee members and directors.

Pandya was previously a member of the IDCA’s board of directors before being elected as president of the New York-based NGO, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council announced on its website. Pandya is also a partner at New York-based diamond jewellery brand and store Ashi Diamonds LLC, according to his LinkedIn profile. 
 
The IDCA also elected Shailesh Jhalani of Prompt Gem Importers Inc. as its new vice president and Sagar Star Corporation’s Rutali Gandhi as secretary. The organisation’s new treasurer is Sailesh Lakhi of Sparkles & Colors USA Inc  and its new joint secretary is Aniket Parikh of Terra Cor Diamonds.

In 2022, the IDCA’s directors will include RMC Gems Inc’s Manoj Bhandari, Sanghvi Diamonds LLC’s Vinit Jobanputra, and Atit Diamond Corporation’s Nimish Mehta, the GJEPC reported. Galaxy USA  Inc’s Navneet Chordia, Rawat Gems LLC’s Kailash Rawat, Trillion Emerald Inc’s Vibhor Saraf, Suraj Impex Inc’s Anshal Shah, and Glory Gems Inc’s Vipul Shah will all continue as directors in 2022. 
 
The IDCA was established in 1984 as a not-for-profit organisation to benefit diamond, gemstone, and jewellery traders, according to its website. The organisation offers support to Indian jewellery business owners and traders in the US
